2nd Seminar of CAMKAA

on “Exchange Experiences of the Cambodia Korea Alumni Association”

The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Cambodia Office would like to announce that it will be held 2nd Seminar of the Cambodia Korea Alumni Association (CAMKAA) on “Exchange Experiences of the Cambodia Korea Alumni Association” on Friday, September 11, 2009 at 08:00 at Imperial Hotel, H.E. Chan Sotheavy, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Justice was the chief guest while KOICA Resident Representative Mr. Kim Byung-gwan was the special guest for the seminar.

A large number of KOICA Alumni members belonging to different government ministries will be invited to participate in the seminar. The main goal of this seminar is to share experiences among members from one filed to another field and from one ministry to another ministry.

CAMKAA will have presentation of five topics such as “KOICA Cambodia Office Activities”, “Law and Judicial System in Cambodia”, “Road Management after KOICA Training”, “Experience of Rural Community Development” and “Women Economic Development”.

As you know well, CAMKAA is the alumni association of the participants to academic and training courses, workshops, seminars, and other activities sponsored by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).

CAMKAA was established to further institutionalize the cooperation between our two countries. CAMKAA would further assure that the valuable lessons gained from the “KOICA training experience” could be sustained by the participants or trainees and applied to the advantage of their respective organizations.

The Seminar marks the union of “Cambodia Korea Alumni Association (CAMKAA)”. The main focus of this union is to renew our acquaintances, to share our valued experiences and knowledge in Korea among KOICA fellows and Cambodia officials and to promote mutual and friendly relationship and partnership between Korea and the Cambodia and to establish a multilateral network of specialists from many disciplines, professional fields, institutions and agencies who have been beneficiaries of KOICA-sponsored scholarship and training programs.
