Mr. Kim Byung-gwan, Representative of KOICA to Cambodia,

Excellencies, Distinguished Guests, Ladies, Gentlemen, National and International Guests,

It is an honor for me to be here today with Excellencies, Ladies and Gentlemen for this second Seminar on “Exchange Experiences of the Cambodia Korea Alumni Association” which have been invited from ministries, departments of Cambodia.

Excellencies, Distinguished Guests, Ladies, Gentlemen, National and International Guests,

Let me introduce the brief background of this association and the reason why we prepare seminar today.

I would like to take this auspicious opportunity to declare that this year is the 8th year and the 2nd Seminar of our association in Exchanging Experiences of the Cambodia Korea Alumni Association. Moreover, we will celebrate the 2nd general congress to elect the official board members of this association on December, 2010.

In the name of the vice president of the first mandate, I would like to thank and deeply appreciate to the temporary board members who spent their time and their effort to get achievement until now. I also would like to thank to all members who have been supported our association.

Regarding the seminar, the association has put in the annual activity plans to prepare the seminar two times per year, it depend on situation and fund. Today is the 2nd time that we organize seminar. The main goal of this seminar is to share experiences among members from one filed to another field and from one ministry to another ministry.

Also, today, we will have presentation of five topics such as KOICA, the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Ministry of Women’s Affairs and Ministry of Rural Development.

I would like to express my deep appreciation and deep thanks to the people of Republic of Korea, especially to Mr. Kim Byung-gwan, KOICA Representative and Mr. Son Sung-Il, KOICA Deputy Representative who support fund for organizing this seminar. I also would like to take this opportunity to deeply thank to the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) that provide much grant aid to develop the Kingdom of Cambodia such as infrastructure, economy, society, health and policy including supporting this association.

I would like to thank to H.E. Chan Sotheavy who takes her valuable time to participate this seminar to be much more valuable and honorable.

I would like to thank to all board members of association who have actively participated and really worked hard for the association to achieve fruitful results of today seminar. I also would like to thank to Mr. Hort Sroeu who really worked hard for the association and today seminar.

I would like to thank to all presenters.

I would like to announce to open the 2nd Seminar on “Exchange Experiences of the Cambodia Korea Alumni Association” after the remark of Mr. Kim Byung-gwan, Representative of KOICA to the Kingdom of Cambodia.
