2nd Seminar of CAMKAA

on “Exchange Experiences of the Cambodia Korea Alumni Association”

The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Cambodia Office would like to announce that it will hold 2nd Seminar of the Cambodia-Korea Alumni Association (CAMKAA) on “Exchange Experiences of the Cambodia-Korea Alumni Association” on Friday, September 11, 2009 at 08:00 at Imperial Hotel. H.E. Chan Sotheavy, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Justice is the chief guest while KOICA Resident Representative Mr. Kim Byung-gwan is also invited as a special guest for the seminar.

A large number of KOICA Alumni members belonging to different government ministries will be invited to participate in the seminar. The main goal of this seminar is to share experiences among members from one filed to another and from one ministry to another and to establish a multilateral network of them.

In this connection, CAMKAA will have presentations on five topics, which are “KOICA Cambodia Office Activities”, “Law and Judicial System in Cambodia”, “Road Management after KOICA Training”, “Experience of Rural Community Development” and “Women Economic Development”.

As it is known, CAMKAA is the alumni association of the participants to academic and training courses, workshops, seminars, and other activities sponsored by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).

CAMKAA was established in 2007 to further institutionalize the cooperation between the two countries. CAMKAA would further assure that the valuable lessons gained from the KOICA training experience could be sustained by the participants or trainees and applied to the advantage of their respective organizations.
