(2) The Objectives of Association are as follows:

a. To promote fellowship and cooperation among the participants of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) sponsored training programs in the Republic of Korea;

b. To enhance continuous partnerships between Korea and Cambodia;

c. To facilitate the sharing of knowledge, skills and resources among KOICA training graduates by organizing academic activities such as conferences, symposiums and forums; and

d. To extend widespread exemplary services for the public good.

(4) Content of general activities:

4-1- Development of Korea-Cambodia cooperation, implementation of the Korea experience and applications of the knowledge obtained at the training courses organized by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KIOCA):

4-1-a- November 2006 (7 days): KOICA Alumni Association Meeting (1st):

KOICA conducts a “KOICA Alumni Association Meeting (2nd)” for 23 participants from 23 countries as part of the Korean government’s grant aid and technical cooperation program for 2006.

4-1-b- October 28 – November 3, 2007 (7 days): KOICA Alumni Association Meeting (2nd):

KOICA conducts a “KOICA Alumni Association Meeting (2nd)” for 23 participants from 23 countries as part of the Korean government’s grant aid and technical cooperation program for 2007

4-2- Regular meetings of the Executive Board Members of the Cambodia Korea Alumni Association (CAMKAA). There is an opportunity for opinion exchange and personal contacts with the officials of KOICA alumni (monthly). Minutes in English are issued by the CAMKAA Coordinator with the approval from the President.

4-3- Updating of the data of the members of the Cambodia Korea Alumni Association (CAMKAA) annually during the Annual Reception in the end of the year and on a daily basis by sending the application forms for membership to CAMKAA Office.

4-4- Wrap-Up Reunion: Activity report, financial report, election of a new Executive Boards for the next two years.

When we got the approval to official open our association from the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Cambodia on December 20, 2007, we held the 1st general congress to elect CAMKAA executive board members on December 22, 2007.

4-5-Workshop on Exchange Experiences of the Cambodia Korea Alumni Association August 29, 2008 at Imperial Hotel:

As program, workshop on the Cambodia Korea Alumni Association (CAMKAA) was held half day on Friday, August 29, 2008 at Imperial Hotel, Phnom Penh to review and collect suggestion from the workshop in order to provide more knowledge to the former trainees and share know-how and experiences which they have participated the training program in Korea through supporting from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA)
